Do you need Motorcycle Insurance?
Insurance is required to drive a motorcycle anywhere other than on private property.
In all other circumstances, the law requires you to carry a minimum of $200,000 in third-party coverage in the event you kill or injure another person, or if you damage their property; that is to be used to pay any claims up to the limit in your policy.
Statutory Accident Benefits coverage provides medically related services such as; home care, supplemental income, or death benefits; that will be in effect regardless of who was at fault.
Property Damage Coverage You will be covered in Ontario if your vehicle or its contents are damaged by an Ontario-insured driver who is at fault.
Uninsured Auto Coverage
If you are injured or killed by a driver who is either; not insured, or is unidentified, their policy will provide compensation to you and/or your family. Increasing your coverage limits your liability!
Of Note: You must have a valid motorcycle license to operate a motorcycle. Mopeds require the same coverage as a motorcycle.
